Comolink, a hospitality management company specializing in exclusive villas and apartments on Lake Como, needed a comprehensive digital platform that reflected the brand's ultra-premium positioning while serving as the operational hub for the entire business. Their portfolio comprised 9 luxury properties distributed across the most prestigious locations on the lake — Bellagio, Tremezzina, Menaggio, Griante, and Cremia — including Villa Gaia, Villa Rondinella, and Villa Le Rose, each with unique characteristics and exclusive amenities. The primary technical challenge was integrating an advanced property management system with the Krossbooking channel manager to synchronize availability and rates in real time with major international booking portals, preventing overbooking and ensuring efficient centralized management. The luxury tourism market on Lake Como is extremely competitive, with a demanding international clientele that expects a flawless digital experience, from searching for the ideal villa to booking ancillary services such as 24/7 multilingual concierge, private boat tours, private chef, spa and wellness treatments, luxury airport transfers, and event and wedding planning. It was essential to build a strong, geo-localized SEO presence capable of ranking for highly competitive keywords such as "luxury villas Lake Como," "villa rental Bellagio," and "affitto villa lusso Lago di Como" to capture both the international and Italian markets. Comolink also required a reliable technology partner for ongoing platform management, with a maintenance contract, dedicated hosting, and custom domain.
UreTech designed and developed a comprehensive e-commerce platform on WordPress with WooCommerce, built as an integrated digital ecosystem for managing and marketing Comolink's luxury properties on Lake Como. At the technical core of the project is the advanced property management system, which presents each of the 9 villas and apartments with professional high-resolution photo galleries, detailed descriptions of spaces and amenities, interactive location maps, and complete specification sheets including capacity, facilities, and seasonal rates. Krossbooking channel manager integration was implemented to automatically synchronize availability calendars and rates with major booking portals such as Booking.com, Airbnb, and Vrbo, centralizing operational management and eliminating the risk of overbooking. A dedicated premium services section presents in detail the 24/7 multilingual concierge offering, private boat tours on the lake, private chef service, spa and wellness treatments, luxury transfers from Milan Malpensa and Bergamo Orio al Serio airports, and event planning services for weddings and exclusive events at the villas. Advanced SEO optimization was structured on two levels: technical SEO covering site architecture, vacation rental schema markup, loading speed, and mobile-first indexing, and content SEO with geo-localized landing pages for each lake location — Bellagio, Tremezzina, Menaggio, Griante, Cremia — optimized for transactional keywords in both Italian and English. UreTech also provided high-performance dedicated hosting, registration and management of the comolink.it domain, and an ongoing maintenance and management contract that includes security updates, backups, uptime monitoring, and priority technical support.
