Fede and Pol wanted an original, contemporary way to share their honeymoon travel project with family and friends, replacing the traditional paper gift registry with a digital experience where each gift corresponded to a real travel experience. The couple already had a working Wix site, but the visual presentation did not reflect the excitement and personality they wanted to convey to their wedding guests. The original layout felt generic and uninspiring, with graphics that neither showcased the travel destinations nor told the couple's story in an emotionally engaging way. The challenge for UreTech was to completely redesign the site's visual appearance, creating a fresh, personal identity while preserving the functional structure of the digital gift registry. It was also essential that the final result be accessible and straightforward for less tech-savvy guests, ensuring that every invitee — from the youngest to the grandparents — could navigate the site and contribute without difficulty. The redesign needed to transform the site from a simple functional tool into a true visual narrative of the honeymoon journey, capable of exciting and engaging every visitor.
UreTech delivered an in-depth consulting service on site structure and user experience, analysing the existing navigation flow and identifying friction points that could discourage guest participation. The complete graphic redesign introduced a harmonious new colour palette, elegant yet readable typography, and a visual identity that authentically reflects the couple's personality and the spirit of their honeymoon journey. The site was reimagined as a visual narrative: from Fede and Pol's love story, through the honeymoon destinations, to the individual travel experiences that guests could gift — creating an engaging and intuitive storytelling path. Navigation was simplified with clear sections and prominent calls-to-action designed to be understandable even for the least digitally experienced guests, removing unnecessary steps from the contribution process. Each gift card was enriched with evocative imagery and descriptions that transform the act of contributing into a preview of the travel experience, boosting guests' emotional engagement. The responsive design was optimised to ensure a seamless experience on both smartphones — the most commonly used device by guests to access the site — and desktop computers.

The Results

The new visual identity radically transformed the perception of the site, turning it into a natural extension of Fede and Pol's personality and generating excitement among guests from the very first time the link was shared. The improved user experience made the contribution process smoother and more intuitive, breaking down technological barriers even for guests less familiar with online browsing, who were able to participate without any assistance. The participation rate in the digital gift registry significantly exceeded the couple's expectations, with the majority of guests choosing to contribute online rather than giving traditional presents. The polished design and visual storytelling encouraged many guests to explore the entire site with curiosity, discovering all available travel experiences rather than limiting themselves to a single contribution. The couple received numerous compliments on the originality and quality of the site, which became a positive talking point even during the wedding celebrations themselves. The project demonstrates how targeted consulting and professional graphic redesign can transform an existing site into an effective and memorable communication tool.
